ABOUT THIS MYSTERY MAN

The original portrait of this macho looking man was painted back in 1558! We know he's wearing some fab armor, he's probably European, but his name is unknown. 

We have further masked his identity by defacing him with a roughly applied line in a white paint effect right over the portrait, then continued this on to our lovely charcoal printed illusion frame.

That's right, the frame you see is actually printed onto the same canvas as the artwork which creates this cool and convincing illusion.

PRODUCTION INFO

This artwork is produced using a Giclée fine art printing process using high quality tight-weave 400gsm cotton canvas. This is then stretched over a wooden frame milled from European kiln dried knotless pine. Everything is assembled and finished by hand to the very highest standard.

This frame is 1.5" (38mm) thick with the white paint and frame printing effects continuing and wrapped onto the sides of the piece.
