Introducing Peekaboo Jan, the reimagined 18th-century still-life painter based on piece originally by Arnold Boonen. Jan, famous for his incredible still life artwork — and that wild hair — he has gone from extrovert to introvert thanks to us scoundrels at P&R! And don't worry, the canvas isn't really torn, its a printed effect only - phew!

This piece features either a Amphora or Matterhorn coloured illusion frame. Yes, the beautiful frame you see, as well as the torn canvas effect, are not what they seem, Prince & Rebel actually print them onto the same canvas as the artwork which creates a convincing optical illusion. 

PRODUCTION INFO

This artwork is produced using a Giclée fine art printing process using high quality tight-weave 400gsm cotton canvas. The canvas is then stretched over a wooden frame milled from European kiln dried knotless pine. Everything is assembled and finished by hand to the very highest standard.

The canvas frame is 1.5" (38mm) thick with the printed illusion frame effect continuing and wrapped onto the sides of the piece.
