This 17th century portrait features the rather dashing Dutch gentleman called Mattheus van den Broucke, or Matt to his friends, seen here in his finest bling-bling... So outlandish is old Matt that he can't even contain himself within his own portrait and is literally spilling out over the sides...

Features a defaced artwork re-imagined in a colourful pop art style and either a charcoal or light brown illusion frame. That's right, the frame is actually printed onto the same canvas as the artwork which creates this convincing optical illusion.

PRODUCTION INFO

This artwork is produced using a Giclée fine art printing process using high quality tight-weave 400gsm cotton canvas. This is then stretched over a wooden frame milled from European kiln dried knotless pine. Everything is assembled and finished by hand to the very highest standard.

This frame is 1.5" (38mm) thick with the illusion frame effect continuing and wrapped onto the sides of the piece.
