The original 18th century portrait is officially titled "An Unknown Man", but we think he looks good enough to be of the better classes, so we've upgraded him to Dukedom.
Features a defaced original artwork with yellow spray paint effect continuing on to a printed illusion frame.
Yep, the beautiful frame you see is not as it appears, it is actually printed onto the same canvas as the artwork which creates a convincing optical illusion.
This artwork is produced using a Giclée fine art printing process using high quality tight-weave 400gsm cotton canvas. This is then stretched over a wooden frame milled from European kiln dried knotless pine. Everything is assembled and finished by hand to the very highest standard.
This frame is 1.5" (38mm) thick with the yellow "spray-paint" and frame printing effects continuing and wrapped onto the sides of the piece.
