This fine equestrian portrait shows Joan Wolfert Brederode riding a white stallion with the dutch Castle Batenstein in the background. Not that you would know this of course because us scoundrels at P&R have completely covered this painting and its frame in a hot pink paint effect.
The beautiful frame you see is not what it appears, we print it onto the same canvas as the artwork, which creates a convincing optical illusion.
This artwork is produced using a Giclée fine art printing process using high quality tight-weave 400gsm cotton canvas. This is then stretched over a wooden frame milled from European kiln dried knotless pine. Everything is assembled and finished by hand to the very highest standard.
This frame is 1.5" (38mm) thick with the charcoal frame and pink paint printing effect continuing and wrapped onto the sides of the piece.
